AN EXAMPLE OF AN 8 INCH TITANIUM VALET TRAY IN USE
This is my newest valet tray design, the artistic concept being that the tray is a volcano crater with lava running down the sides. This starts out as a huge slab of titanium weighing over 18 pounds! Finish weight is about 6½ pounds. Tray measures 9 inch diameter and stands over 1.6 inches tall. There is a high quality Viton o ring in the bottom to prevent surface scratching. I think the 9 inch tray is the perfect size, but just to take it up a notch for the hopelessly titanium addicted I made a few 10 ten inch valet trays. A valet tray is something that you put on a dresser or bureau to put items in like wallet, keys, coins, jewelry or other odds and ends. Sometimes referred to as a 'catch-all', catchall, or bedside box. Often made of leather or wood, I have taken the valet tray to the next level by making them from solid blocks of titanium. This is a functional work of art that can be passed down from generation to generation.
